For my animation I have an idea to mainly do an abstract piece but with a bit of a narrative. The idea is that someone is being hypnotized by a hypnotic shape or swinging watch and that when this person is hypnotized you see what they are seeing in their mind. I can create images that seem dream like and magical. It can also be mysterious which will give the animation a twist.

Narrative

Magician Performing tricks and hypnotizing the audience.
Person being hypnotized and you are able to see what they are thinking in their head.

Abstract

Hypnotic images- Swirls- Bright colours- Swinging watch.
Magic tricks- Wand- Bunny out of a hat- Coin dissappearing- Cards- Gloves- Joined rings- Sawn in half.

I have listened to the piece of music through my headphones, so I could block out any distractions, and I wrote down how the music made me feel and what the music made me think of. I found that the music changed a lot and different parts of the song made me feel different things. So I have split the song into a Beginning, Middle and End.

I have decided to concentrate on the beginning part of the song as I find it more interesting and I have many words to choose from on the list.

MAGIC

When I think of the word magic it makes me think of magic tricks such as a rabbit being pulled out of a hat, things dissappearing and reappearing. I also think of a magician and wand.

HYPNOTIC

When I think of the word hypnotic I think of patterns that attract my eyes. Bright colours catch my eye and patterns with swirls.

When something is mysterious you do not know what it is. If a mask covers someones face you do not know who they are. If an aboject is hidden in a box you do not know what that object is.
